Bobby Baldwin
Non-Executive Director, Impact One

Bobby Baldwin is an American business executive with more than 35 years of senior leadership experience across gaming, hospitality, real estate, and large-scale destination development. Widely recognised as one of the key architects of the modern casino-resort industry, he has overseen some of the most ambitious and award-winning commercial developments in the United States.
After early success as the 1978 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, Baldwin transitioned to corporate leadership, becoming President of the Golden Nugget in 1984 and later leading flagship properties such as The Mirage, Treasure Island, and Bellagio. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Mirage Resorts and subsequently joined MGM Resorts International as a Board Member and CEO of its Mirage Resorts subsidiary following the 2000 merger.
From 2005 to 2019, Baldwin led CityCenter (now Aria Campus), an integrated resort development and the largest privately funded construction project in U.S. history at $8.5 billion. He first served as Chief Design & Construction Officer and later as Chief Executive Officer of the investment entity, before becoming General Manager of the operating company. The 18-million-sq-ft mixed-use complex includes 6,800 hotel rooms and condominiums, five water features, theatres, casinos, and more than a dozen signature restaurants. Its hospitality portfolio features Aria Resort & Casino, Vdara, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, Veer Towers and the Crystals retail district, as well as the 63 shopping and dining complex. These properties are among the most awarded in North America, receiving distinctions such as AAA Five-Diamond and TripAdvisor’s Best Luxury Hotel in the U.S. All major buildings achieved LEED Gold certification in 2009, setting a benchmark for sustainable large-scale urban development.
Following executive roles as MGM Resorts’ Chief Customer Development Officer, Baldwin went on to serve as interim CEO of Drew Las Vegas, overseeing the revival of the stalled Fontainebleau project. He currently advises new resort and mixed-use developments, including Mandalay Resort Group, legacy Wynn properties, and major urban projects in New York City.
Currently Bobby is Chief Design Officer and Board Member of the development joint venture between Hard Rock International and and Steve Cohen’s fund, leading the design and strategic development of Metropolitan Park, an $8 billion sports and entertainment district planned around Citi Field.
Across his career, Baldwin has combined operational expertise, design leadership, and investment acumen, contributing to projects totalling billions of dollars in development value. His portfolio spans hospitality, entertainment, real estate, and technology ventures, positioning him as one of the most influential figures in contemporary integrated-resort development.
At Impact One, he applies this expertise as a Non-Executive Director, providing strategic guidance on large-scale destination development, hospitality operations, and the integration of commercially viable models into nature-positive urban projects.
