Winds Of Yawanawa By Refik Anadol And The Yawanawá Launches In Mykonos. On 13 July 2023, we united with Yawanawa Chiefs Nixiwaka and Isku Kua,and media artist Refik Anadol at Scorpios Mykonos, to unveil Winds of Yawanawa: the first outcome of our collaboration with the Yawanawá communities of Aldeia Sagrada and Nova Esperança.

Impact One joins the Davos Baukultur Alliance

Impact One has demonstrated its commitment to advancing the quality and culture of our living environments by formally signing the Davos Baukultur Alliance. This significant step was taken during the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale, which was inaugurated by Swiss President Alain Berset and hosted by UNESCO. The alliance, initiated by the World Economic Forum, brings together public and private sector stakeholders to improve the planning, construction, and management of buildings, infrastructure, public spaces, and landscapes.

Possible Futures at WEF23

The Possible Energy — Possible Cities panel was held at Goals House in Davos on 18 January, and was divided into two segments, Possible Energy and Possible Cities to evaluate why our environmental efforts and international councils are often unable to move forward in the discussion of abstract objectives and the setting of targets that fail to posit specific solutions that can counter the challenges posed by the climate change crisis.

Impact One launches Possible Futures

Possible Futures was officially launched in November 2022 with an exciting programme co-curated by advisor Nina Gualinga at the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The initiative was born of a collaboration between the Yawanawá communities of Aldeia Sagrada and Nova Esperança and Impact One, along with Therme Group and the One Health Research Centre (OHRC), who joined forces to bring Possible Futures to life.
